Export from your bank
Log into your bank's website, find "Download transactions" or "Export CSV," and save the file. Every major bank offers this.

Drop it into Piggey
Upload the file on signup or from Accounts. Piggey reads the columns, maps dates and amounts, and imports everything in seconds.

AI categorizes instantly
Every transaction gets a category automatically. Fix the odd one, add a rule, and you're done — usually under five minutes total.

See where it went
Dashboard, trends, and subscriptions light up immediately. Repeat once a month with a fresh export — about a minute each time.
Frequently asked questions
Which banks support CSV export?
Essentially all of them — CIBC, TD, RBC, Scotiabank, BMO, Chase, Wells Fargo, and most credit unions. Look for "Download transactions" or "Export" in your online banking.
Do I have to import every month?
Only if you want up-to-date numbers. Many people import monthly; some do it quarterly. Piggey deduplicates overlapping exports so you won't double-count.
Does Piggey store my original CSV file?
No. Your file is parsed in the browser; only the transaction rows you need are saved. We never keep the raw upload.
